Other popular ingredients that is used in Mangalorean Cuisines is Coconut Oil, Coconut Milk. Since Mangalore was an important Port during the Portuguese time, Mangalorean cuisines has also been highly influenced by the Portuguese style of cooking which brings a unique blend to the tastes.
